Richard Nixon is viewed by many as a crook a bad president, a failure. I think this is not the case. I’m absolutely not a republican. I think they have a disturbed view on the world and the US itself. But that’s another topic
Nixon had been elected in a difficult time. The USA was fighting a war in Vietnam, the cold war was burning. Big social changes not seen since the time just after world war two. If you look at his foreign accomplishments in this difficult times he was not a failure as a president. He was a success.
Foreign policy accomplishments of President Nixon:
- Initially escalated America’s involvement in the Vietnam War, but subsequently ended US involvement by 1973 through the Paris Peace Accords
- Opened diplomatic relations with the People’s Republic of China in 1972 and ushered in a new era of Sino-American relations
- Initiated détente with the Soviet Union in the wake of his diplomacy with China, leading to SALT I and the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty
- Supported Israel during the Yom Kippur War, which led to an Israeli victory and a retaliation by Arab OPEC nations who refused to sell crude oil to the US during the 1973 oil crisis.
The thing is, he got busted for the Watergate affair. Every president has dirty laundry he just got caught. George W Bush is the biggest crook of all, a war criminal. But he just hid his dirty laundry to well.
So I made a Nixon remix. I think it’s a bid sad how history treats him.

So there is a fucking problem with the Nvida drivers. The error: Display driver has stopped working and has recovered. Could mean everything. From fucked hardware to conflicting drivers. So there are a lot of fixes. From reg editor, sucking dust out of your pc to buying a new graphics card. The following seems to work for me, kind of. The Display driver has stopped working and has recovered crashes are almost gone. 1) Start –> Control Panel -> Power Options: Change to “High Performance” instead of the default “Balanced”. After this click “change plan settings” then click “change advanced power settings” and in this menu click PCI Express , “Link State Power Management” and make sure this is set to “Off”. 2) Open “Nvidia Control Panel” (C:Program FilesNVIDIA CorporationControl Panel Client) and at the option “Manage 3D settings” at “Power Management Mode” make sure you change to “Prefer Maximum Performance” instead of the default “adaptive” option. And: Fuck you Windows So fix your Display driver has stopped working and has recovered
What is happiness?
So what is well being? When do you really feel well in your life? When you truly feel well, when you’re really happy, you’re well. Even if you’re physically ill, your still well. Even when you’re medically diagnosed ass ill you could be happy right now. You’re feeling well isn’t it to fundamentally. Well-being means a certain level of joyfulness. Everybody’s been happy but the problem is that we are not able to maintain it, that’s all. Isn’t everybody’s been happy in the last 24 hours? How many moments have joy have you known? And so there is another piece of me dying. Spock is gone. Leonard Nimoy dies at the age of 83. My 1st encounter with Spock was in 1979, Visiting the local cinema for Star Trek: The Motion Picture. Now 36 years later it ends. When I 1st read the news I though of the 10 seconds where Spock says goodbye to himself. Not with the words Live long and prosper. But a simpel… goodbye.
