Gravitational waves

Gravitational waves this is just fucking epic

Gravitational waves

So there was finally after the discovery of the Higgs Boson particle another epic event. The detection of gravitational waves

Ladies an gentleman we have detected Gravitational waves. We did it

Formula-gravitational-waves.

Formula-gravitational-waves.

Albert Einstein had predicted these gravitational waves 100 years ago in his theory of general relativity. He thought that, because of gravitational waves are so small we could never detect them.

It’s like measuring how much the surface of the water has risen in a large lake after you drop a drop of water in it. And then much more accurate than that.

After more than 50 years of trial and error the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO) announced they had detected gravitational waves. This is just epic I think.

So what do gravitational waves sound like?

Here is a download mp3 recording of the gravitational waves sound. Listen for the famous “chirp”

So gravitational waves who cares?

Now we van detect gravitational waves it will open a new window in the dark universe.  Maybe we’ll get the answer to what dart matter is. We can look back further in time. See the big bang just after it explodes.  I guess we should even be able to see just before the big bang. Multi Universes expanding and forming new universes with these big bangs. See another dimensions and detected life not as we know it.

Dark matter, beginning time, parallel universes, other dimensions, life as we know it will be revealed.

After this comes the most challenging task

Who is Superman?

Is Lois lane natural blond?

So who cares about Gravitational waves? I think this is fucking epic. Bring it on.

LIGO Detected Gravitational Waves from Black Holes

On September 14, 2015 at 5:51 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (09:51 UTC), the twin Laser Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory (LIGO) detectors, located in Livingston, Louisiana, and Hanford, Washington, USA both measured ripples in the fabric of spacetime – gravitational waves – arriving at the Earth from a cataclysmic event in the distant universe. The new Advanced LIGO detectors had just been brought into operation for their first observing run when the very clear and strong signal was captured.
